Unmanned boat developed by Hainan University

海南大学成功研发无人艇

After 7 years of technological research, Hainan University's unmanned intelligent marine equipment and marine information technology team has mastered autonomous control technology and developed an unmanned boat.

The unmanned craft carries the key technologies of Hainan province in the field of unmanned intelligent marine equipment research and development. With the support of Haikou Maritime Safety Bureau and other departments, the unmanned craft has been carrying out sea water quality monitoring, cable safety inspection, underwater topographic survey, wireless broadband coverage of surrounding sea areas, etc. at the Qiongzhou Strait. 经过7年科研攻关，海南大学海洋无人智能装备与海洋信息技术团队掌握了无人自主控制技术，已研发出无人艇。

海南大学研发的无人艇承载着我省在海洋无人智能装备研发领域的关键技术。在海口海事局等部门的支持下，该无人艇已在琼州海峡进行着海水水质监测、海缆安全巡察、水下地形地貌调查、周边海域无线宽带覆盖等工作。
